Accessibility Action Plan (Recruitment + Retention)

This RadHR template, grounded in Hazel Sealeaf's research "Where Are The Managers?", provides a structured checklist across five stages — pre-recruitment, role design, recruitment, induction, and company culture — to help organisations prepare for employing learning disabled or neurodivergent people in senior or management roles. Each section includes concrete, actionable steps (such as appointing dedicated access staff, offering roles as job shares, accepting applications in multiple formats, and using plain language or Easy-Read documents) alongside fields for deadlines, progress status, and named responsible staff. The template is explicitly scoped to management and trainee-manager pipelines rather than general recruitment, and is designed to be reviewed and approved by a board of directors.
