Decision-making policy & process

This policy outlines how RadHR's Core Team makes operational and strategic decisions, using three tiers: mandate (individuals or work areas acting within their remit), consent (no objections within a stated deadline), and full consensus (everyone satisfied, using a Fist-to-Five scale). It details preparation steps to ensure accessible participation, a formal step-by-step consensus process for contested decisions, provisions for urgent decisions, and a fallback two-thirds majority vote after two failed consensus attempts. The policy explicitly addresses power imbalances within the team and signals an intention to involve the wider RadHR Community in decisions over time as organisational structures develop.
