Rules for how we work together

This document sets out the secondary rules governing how the Nanny Solidarity Network — a Community Interest Company — operates, covering its history, aims, values, and detailed internal policies. It addresses membership eligibility and rights, collective democratic decision-making, an equal flat pay rate (London Living Wage plus £5.25), and staff entitlements including sick pay, mental health leave, and parental leave. Notable features include a strong commitment to migrant-led governance, a "solidarity not charity" ethos, whistleblowing and conflict resolution processes, and explicit provisions for prioritising domestic workers over non-members in hiring and volunteering roles. The document is intended to be read alongside the network's constitution and is only amendable by all-member assembly or online vote.
