Family leave
This RadHR policy template provides detailed guidance on the full range of family leave entitlements — including adoption, assisted conception, pregnancy, parental leave, paternity/second parent leave, and surrogacy — written to be inclusive of all staff regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics. It sets out statutory rights and pay structures (e.g. 6 weeks at 90% pay followed by 33 weeks at the government rate for adoption), notice requirements, keeping-in-touch days, and the transfer of leave via shared parental leave. Designed for organisations with 1–3 years' operational maturity, it explicitly centres and prioritises care, though individual organisations must insert their own name and may need to verify figures against current government rates.
