Worker rights and wellbeing

This RadHR policy provides detailed, gender-neutral provisions across several key people-ops areas: sickness and long-term illness (including occupational sick pay rates, phased returns, and reasonable adjustments), maternity/paternity/shared parental and adoption leave (with enhanced pay schedules on top of statutory entitlements), and carer's and compassionate leave (including a generous 16 days at full pay and 16 days at half pay). It also addresses overwork as a collective organisational responsibility rather than solely an individual one. Notable features include full pay during phased returns from illness, an inclusive definition of dependants that extends to chosen family, and repayment clauses for employees who leave shortly after taking enhanced parental benefits.
