Member volunteer induction process

This policy documents how the Class Work Project's Membership Working Group supports prospective member volunteers (PMVs) through the early stages of involvement. It covers the initial one-to-one meeting — where interests, skills, availability, and potential barriers are explored — through to a joint decision on working group placement for the quarter. The process also specifies escalation steps if a working group co-ordinator does not respond within set timeframes, and sets out a structured schedule of check-ins with the PMV at weeks 2, 4, 8, 12, and 24, and then biannually. Notably, the policy is specific to the Class Work Project's internal structure and may require adaptation for other organisations.
