Conflict system

This policy sets out a four-stage conflict resolution system designed for small co-operatives, particularly those operating remotely or during disrupted conditions. It begins with preparatory monthly group dynamic meetings to build trust and reduce conflict, and progresses through direct peer conversation, collective conflict spaces, internal peer mediation (with note-taking guidance), and externally sourced support agreed upon collectively in advance. Guidance is included for co-op members acting as informal mediators, covering note-taking, gaining agreement on records, and managing multi-party conversations. The final stage acknowledges that if all prior steps are exhausted, the co-op may need to dissolve or restart the cycle. Notable scope limit: the policy is written specifically for co-operative structures and assumes a small, collectively governed team.
