Ways of working policy

This policy sets out RadHR's operational norms across three areas: how workers approach their work (group culture, boundary-setting, rest), how they manage their time (flexible and remote working, capacity planning, overwork safeguards, working time regulations), and how they look after one another. It details specific practices such as an 80% annual capacity planning rule, organisational shut-downs over Christmas and summer, expenses reimbursement, and a 2:1 maximum ratio between Core Team members' contracted hours. The policy is intended for all RadHR workers — including freelancers, PAYE staff, and associates — and is designed to be read alongside RadHR's Pay, Leave, and Decision-making policies. It is explicitly values-led, aiming to redress social and economic injustice and support sustainable, burnout-aware working.
